Visitors to Calderdale Council’s Customer First offices in Todmorden Community College will soon see work beginning on the cash collection area.
On Monday 21 October work will start on a new self service kiosk which is expected to last for two weeks. Until the work is competed the office will provide a reduced service. Customers will only be able to make card and cheque payments.
For convenience, customers can choose to make payments by Direct Debit, payment line, Pay Zone or on line from the comfort of their home. Payments can also be made at the Post Office or the bank. Alternatively customers can pay by cash at our cash offices in Sowerby Bridge and Halifax.
Calderdale Council’s Cabinet Member for Communities, Cllr Steve Sweeney, said:
“This work will allow people an additional way to access Council services, and will bring state of the art technology to the Customer First offices in Todmorden.
“The kiosk will be easy to use and Customer Service Advisors will be on hand to help those customers who need support. The kiosks will improve the service we are able to offer in Todmorden as our advisors will be freed up to concentrate on help and advice.”
