As exam results are released for those studying A levels, AS levels, T levels, vocational and technical qualifications, Calderdale Council’s Cabinet Member for Children and Young People’s Services, Cllr Adam Wilkinson, said:
“Congratulations to all those receiving their results for A levels, AS levels, T levels, vocational and technical qualifications today. I hope that lots of people are celebrating getting the results they wanted and are looking forward to taking the next step into further education or starting their career.
“We understand that this is a nerve-wracking time, whether you’ve got the results you were hoping for, or not. It’s important to remember that there’s lots of advice available and people you can talk to if you’re confused about next steps.
“If you didn’t get the grades you expected, there are still lots of options. It might be that you can still follow the route you were hoping to take, and even if plans need to change there’s support and advice to help you make a considered decision and inform plans for the future.
“Young people can speak to their school or college, or there’s lots of information at C&K Careers and Open Minds. For more information visit https://ck.mydirections.co.uk/events/a-level-results-day-14-august-2025(external link) or www.openmindscalderdale.org.uk/exam-help-calderdale/(external link).
“Whatever the results today, we’re so proud of everything that our young people continue to achieve and our fantastic education providers who support them on their journey.”
