In response to mention of West Yorkshire Devolution position in the Chancellor’s budget statement today, Calderdale Council’s Leader, Cllr Tim Swift said:
“ Calderdale holds a unique position within the Northern Powerhouse, lying between the two great cities of Leeds and Manchester. As a result we’re likely to benefit from the significant investment planned by both regions in our shared infrastructure, driving economic growth and creating new jobs.”
