On Wednesday 29 July 2026, Calderdale Council’s Street Cleansing team worked alongside Hebden Bridge Town Council on a focused clean-up around Hebden Bridge town centre.
Councillor Peter Hunt, the Council’s Cabinet Member for Public Services, said:
“Keeping our public spaces clean, safe and well cared for is a priority for the Council. We have recently done focused clean-ups around Halifax and Todmorden and we will continue to plan additional clean-up days around Calderdale.”
The team concentrated on weed removal around railings and on the bridges and has done an amazing job to improve the appearance of the town. Take a look at our before and after photos and look out for our future clean-ups around Calderdale.
