Business owners and budding entrepreneurs in Calderdale are invited to a drop-in networking event, helping local enterprises to thrive in 2025.
On Thursday 30 January, from 4pm until 6pm, the Crossley Gallery, D Mill, Dean Clough will host Calderdale Council’s Doing Business at Dean Clough event, offering an opportunity to connect with the Council’s Business Support Team.
Attendees can explore a range of valuable resources and engage directly with the Business Growth team to learn about strategies and tools that can elevate their ventures in 2025. Additionally, the Employment Hub will be on hand to provide insights and assistance to help employers recruit the ideal candidates.
Other organisations at the event will include the Federation of Small Businesses, offering advice and resources to help businesses thrive; and the Mid-Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, with information about the support they can offer to local businesses, from networking opportunities to business advice.
There will also be the chance to find out about fully funded courses at Calderdale College, to support workforce development.
In line with Calderdale’s commitment to creating a fair and equitable workplace, the event will feature information about the Fair Work Charter. Businesses can discover how they can play an active role in building a more inclusive and equitable working environment across the borough.
There’s no need to book a place, those interested can drop-in at any time during the session or stay for the whole event. Attendees will be able to enjoy networking sessions, offering an opportunity to connect with fellow professionals, learn from experts and gain inspiration.
