A643 Briggate at Anchor Bridge in Brighouse has been closed this afternoon (Friday 1 November) for safety reasons. There are issues with the bridge, which the Council’s highways team is investigating today and over the weekend. The duration of the closure depends on the repair work needed. The road will be reopened again as soon as it’s safe. Drivers are advised to follow the diversion signs.
