The Joint Health Scrutiny Committee will meet Friday 30 September at 10.30am at Halifax Town Hall.
They are meeting to agree their findings report on the proposals to reconfigure health services in Calderdale and Huddersfield.
At the meeting, the Committee will consider a draft report setting out the information it has received and the conclusions it has come to.
Councillors will then agree any recommendations they wish to make to the CCGs on the proposals.
The Committee will submit their finalised report to the Clinical Commissioning Groups on the 3 October 2016.
It is expected that the Calderdale and Greater Huddersfield CCG Boards will consider their response to the scrutiny report at a meeting on the 20 October 2016.
The Joint Health Scrutiny Committee plans to meet again in November to consider the formal response of the CCGs.
If the Scrutiny Committee is not satisfied with the response from the CCGs they would need to meet with them to try and reach agreement on any areas of difference.
If they are unable to agree, the Scrutiny Committee can choose to refer the CCG’s decision to the Secretary of State for Health.
